brown friday went infinitely better than orange thursday. a trip home was made due to the most painful dentist visit ever: painful in that it cost me £32.10. sigh, to be a student again. but brown friday brought the perfect opportunity to continue my brown knitting on the train, to visit the park & abbey, & on my return to dundee, a gift from a friend in the form of a beautiful print. incidentally, he (ross mclean) currently has a show on - "wouldn't say no!" - at rara & the pretty vacant showrooms on exchange street until 9th august. go see.

I love your browns! Knitting one is a fav :) Oh my gosh, thats pants about the dentist by the way, i got your text when i got back, my phones been discarded of late :p
i know. i don't even like my dentist very much either. he seems smug that he is a dentist & i am just an artist. bah.
Hey, I didn't realise that you are a knitter too. How awesome! What're you making on such big needles?
i couldn't call myself a knitter, i'm not good enough, but i try, sometimes! i'm making my sister a scarf... i think i started it in march! but i've been so busy the past few months that yesterday was the first time i worked on it in a long time. love big wool though. (:
You knit, therefore you're a knitter :) It's simply logic! There are a heap of websites which might get you motivated, though I understand that finding the time can be a bit. knitty.com and ravelry.com are both awesome.
i know, i know, but somehow with my measly skills it seems wrong! thank you for the links, i will have a look when i have the time!
Yo! i went to that shop - RARA and The Pretty Vacant Showrooms....Ace place. The Exhibition space is cool. Preview nights are one to look out for
t does look like a swell little place, i headed out for food straight after so haven't had a proper look yet. the exhibition space was nice though, i'm hopefully attending the closing party (as opposed to the opening party, which i missed).
