at long last, i've finished my little sketchbook for art house's sketchbook project. along with alan's contribution (his is brilliant) i'm sending it off tomorrow, an epic journey across the sea before it begins a trip around the us-of-a. if you perhaps live near one of the tour's stops, you could visit it & it's fellow sketchbooks. the theme is "everyone we know"; i chose to go with colour, shapes, & expressions of friendship to portray this. i kept it sketchy, trying not to get too fussy with things. alan is currently (& kindly) scanning it in for me, so i'm sure it'll be uploaded somewhere soon for all to see.
now that that's out of the way, i can get a move on with other projects, namely my portraits project! if you sent a photo to my e-mail address, it's most likely that i've got it, i just haven't had time to get through them. i'm thinking this project may spill over into march, as my plate got a little more full lately, but i'll reveal more at a later date. february started off a little flat, but it's starting to get fun.
